Skar Audio engineered this custom, vehicle specific, dual 8-inch, ported subwoofer enclosure specifically to fit under the rear cab seat of 2014-2018 Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra Crew Cab trucks. Unmatched by anything else on the market today, this subwoofer enclosure was engineered from the ground up by our master craftsman to ensure it is a perfect OEM fit in the vehicle, all while preserving the limited cargo space most audiophiles are reluctant to give up.
The ported design of this enclosure allows for the end-user to achieve ultimate levels of bass output while remaining extremely responsive due to the advantageous dynamic frequency output of 8-inch drivers. The enclosure houses the subwoofers in a forward-firing (front) direction, and features a single port on the right side of the enclosure which is optimally tuned for maximum bass output. The quality of the box is evident from the minute you open the packaging, as the enclosure is constructed out of only the finest materials, including premium-grade MDF, ensuring it will last for years to come.
Additionally, we line each of the subwoofer chamber walls with poly-fill to enhance the overall depth of sound that this enclosure reproduces. From there each speaker hole of the shared chamber features it's own independent wiring terminal cup, which is pre-wired internally to 12-gauge (OFC) speaker wire leads. Finally, the enclosure is finished in an attractive, automotive-grade, black trunk-liner carpeting, allowing it to blend in with your your vehicles interior.
