“I am not sure what this is suppose to do but it definitely did not do it. I used as directed to clean and deodorize the litter box, however this stuff had a no smell. It even suggests to spray onto the litter. DO NOT do this! It just leaves the litter smelling wet and moldy.Worst product ever. Now I have a whole bottle sitting under my sink and I have no idea what to do with it.”
“I wrote to Skout's Honor and asked so many questions about the product and how it works that the company finally offered me a free trial. The big name in cat odor eliminator does nothing for me at all. I do not have 2 weeks to endure the stench of moist urine, then treat it all over again and wait another 2 weeks. And so on. I need Instant results, and that is what I got with Skout's Honor.I keep a plastic "Welcome" mat in front of the catbox, because Charles tracks litter on his way out. But urine had leaked over the side of the box and under the mat, as well as into the grout of the tile floor. I sprayed the Litter Box Deodorizer on the floor and the bottom of the mat. A fresh, clean, pleasant smell filled the air. I have waited a full week to see whether this was just a perfume, or a temporary deodorizer, but there is NO smell left on the mat or the grout. In the past week, I have sprayed the Litter Box Deodorizer onto the litter a couple of times when I'm in too much of a hurry to remove the waste, and come back several hours later to find there is still no odor from the box.I keep a container for food scraps on my counter for the compost bin. In a couple of days, this gets really rank. I sprayed the litter box deodorizer into the can, waited 5 seconds, sniffed--NO ODOR. I sprayed it on a smelly dish sponge when I did not have time to boil the sponge--GONE. I can't wait to spill a water bottle on the floor of the car so I can try Skout's Honor on that awful smell that comes the next day after the floor of the car gets wet. This is a great product--does what it claims, easy and fast, and really does smell very nice.”
“Great scent, not overpowering. Sometimes the box just smells strong even a day or so after a complete litter change; I clean the box twice per day. This stuff really helps and you only need a couple of sprays from the bottle. The bottle is huge, don't let the price deter you! I shared some with a friend and still have more than enough. It will probably last well over 6 months. The cats are not bothered by the scent, it deodorizes then dissipates quickly.”
“It does work. I spray a couple of sprays on and around litter box and it eliminates the odor. But it also causes my Abyssinian's paws to dry and peel - he has the same reaction to any and all other scented treatments and/or litter. So we stopped using it in the box, which makes it less effective...”
