“Our German Shepherd/Rott mix was sprayed by a skunk on the head and face a week and a half ago. I had washed him in Dawn soap and used vinegar immediately, it was 10 pm. This calmed the smell down but the next day I started searching for better ideas because our house was smelling pretty awful. He had come into the living room and rubbed his head all over. I ordered this for the furniture and it works really well. The smell was gone after I saturated the couch and blankets. We smelled it again later but we think it's because we haven't been able to get the skunk completely off of him yet.
