“This stuff really does work to eliminate the odors. However I used it a lot one weekend when my cat was sick and by the end of the weekend I had chest pain that lasted all night so I went to the ER and after tests to rule out other things they diagnosed me with pleurisy. I didn't realize until later that the fumes from the Skout's was probably what caused the irritation. It's similar to bleach fumes-- I wear an N95 mask when I have to use bleach and it definitely helps me to not get lightheaded/queasy. (Studies say it's just a placebo effect but I can't argue with how I feel). I have to spray the area quickly and leave the room, it's too much.”
