“This is without a doubt the best cleaner I have used for cleaning my cats messes. We had, at one point, 10 recue cats at home. Most with medical issues, so we saw a lot of vomit, loose bowels and marking. We tried everything over the years and they never quite got it all out. I cam across Skouts Honor purely by chance about 2 years ago and have not looked back since. It works amazing on walls, carpet, clothing, toys and cat trees! Watching the markings disappear under black light as you clean them really makes you smile with relief. The smell is not overpowering and does not linger so those with sensitivieties to scents will appreciate that. In summary, worth every penny spent. I do buy it by the gallon.”

We're sorry to hear about your experience with our Urine & Odor Destroyer! This product is designed and formulated to remove cat messes and the associated odor. While pet parents can see a decrease in marking behavior due to its effectiveness, it's not formulated as a deterrent. Your veterinarian may be able to point you in the direction of a cat-friendly deterrent.
What you're describing with the trigger coming unscrewed is not typical. We were working through a component sourcing issue during the pandemic but this has since been resolved. It may take some time to reflect these changes on the retail shelf. If you'd like to continue using the Urine & Odor Destroyer to remove the cat urine and live within the United States, we'd be happy to send you a replacement bottle directly from our warehouse.
