If you are dealing with older, more stubborn stains we recommend spot treating specific areas first with our Stain & Odor Severe Mess Advanced Formula. Customers have also found success when treating the entire carpet with only water in the machine first, then following up with the solution and water mixture. This excess water helps the solution soak further into the affected area. Keep in mind that the entire water and solution mix must be extracted with the carpet machine in order to completely remove the odor and stains!
