I'm sorry to hear that you haven't seen the results you were looking for yet. I'm here to help! How long have you been using the shampoo and how frequently?
“My little terrier mix has a lot of skin issues. He takes a prescribed allergy medication year round and still has ‚Äúbreakouts‚Äù on his belly of little red, uncomfortable bumps sometimes. He also is prone to little sebaceous cysts on his legs and back, which could be a result of the allergy medication on his immune system or just another sensitive skin issue. I‚Äôve only used this shampoo on him twice in the last 10 or so days, but so far, I love it.
I haven’t noticed any new bumps or redness on his belly or groin, and his skin seems overall pretty happy. No new cysts, flaky skin, or itchiness. He has a thick double coat...the undercoat being that soft, fine, downy chow chow/shepherd type, and the outer coat being schnauzer hair that needs to be stripped because it doesn’t fall out on its own. I am very pleased with how easy it is to lather this shampoo in his coat and also to RINSE IT OUT!! It all comes out first try!
The smell is divine. It’s not overpowering or super strong, which I like, but the fragrance does linger pleasantly. I started using this shampoo on my other dog too because of how much I enjoy the scent and how easy it is to use. Their coats are very shiny. I haven’t noticed that they’ve gotten softer but it’s probably difficult to tell with wirehair dogs. My longer haired dog does have a chic shaggy look after it dries, rather than the wet tangled mop look.
I might try the lavender scent next time, if I can let go of the Dog of the Woods!”
“This shampoo leaves our maltese so soft and smells SO wonderful. I have only used it a couple times but it seems to be helping with her itchiness as well.”
“The shampoo/conditioner was great!!! It left mt little guy's hair so soft. I didn't realize the shampoo I had been using had left it stiff. I thought he might have a health problem with his stiff hair. Recommend it!,”
