“I followed directions exactly, but after he dried he was still scratching and licking and whining really bad. He still smells good though, even though it‚Äôs raining and he‚Äôs had to go out in it and then be dried off. Maybe I just need to try a second time.”
“Today was Pip‚Äôs first bath using this shampoo and he hasn‚Äôt scratched once!üôå This just might be the miracle I was hoping for. üôå It lathers well and smells wonderful. Pip is a black and white border collie and he‚Äôs so shiny and soft after his bath!:u1F970:”
“It smells good and it doesn't irritate my extremely sensitive bully. It hasn't stopped his itching and odor. He's a medical mystery with his allergies. It's him and not the product.”
“Our groomer didn't want to use after the first dog. She said she couldn't get rinse enough to remove the conditioning aspect and it left her tub greasy. I don't feel too badly as it was thru a Great Good donation donating abottle of shampoo and 21 cans of food to a shelter.”
Hi Patricia,
I’m sorry you haven't seen any results. Although many of our customers see instant results, sometimes it will take some pets 2-4 weeks of consistent use for the skin to restore.
Here are some simple tips to help achieve the best possible results!
For healthy animals, the recommended washing interval is once every 2-4 weeks. However, you may feel free to wash as often as you like, because the probiotic kefir supports the skin’s natural biome and doesn’t disrupt it.
For animals with chronic skin issues, it is best to bathe the animal once every 3 days for the first two weeks, then once a week until the skin normalizes. We highly recommend using a daily-use product, like Daily-use Probiotic Deodorizer or Daily-use Probiotic Detangler. The daily-use products will provide a much needed boost of probiotic to those trouble spots.
You are fine switching to a monthly or bi-monthly routine once the skin has normalized.
Diluting can make it much easier to spread and lather throughout the coat and rinse out, plus it is super easy to do. Simply pour roughly 1 FL.OZ. (one shot-glass full) per 20-pounds of doggie into an old water bottle or dilution bottle (available on our website!) and top off with water. Don’t worry about over diluting, as long as the entire contents of the bottle get on the animal you’ll be just fine. Massage into the skin with both hands for up to 2-minutes and rinse out.
Hope that helps and let me know if you are still not seeing results in a week or two! We are here to help!
