“Just tried the shampoo plus conditioner on my 8 year old shih tzu. Wow this stuff is the greatest. After 8 years of using many shampoos and conditioners my shih tzu's hair was always somewhat dry and not very soft. Plus my dog always scratched and licked after bathing him. Decided after reviews to splurge and try the scouts honor shampoo and conditioner all in one. WOW..amazing. His coat is so soft and brush and comb slid through like silk. Didn't even need a detangular. And anyone who's familiar with shih tzu...the hair can tangle and mat easily if not brushed regular...and the added bonus...he's not licked or scratched since his bath. Thank you so much for your honest feedback! Every pet is different and it can take up to four weeks for the skin and coat to restore. For pets with chronic skin issues, we recommend bathing your dog once every three days for the first two weeks, then once a week until the skin normalizes. Once the skin has normalized you can switch to a bi-monthly or monthly bathing routine. Keep us updated and if you're still not seeing results, we'd be happy to help you further.
