The smell is delicious. I've used a couple of times for my dogs skin condition in conjunction with some shampoo the vet prescribed. Not sure which is working, but this stuff smells much better than the vet's, and he does seem to be getting better.. The only gripe I have is that the bottle leaked during shipment and about 1/4 of the bottle was in the plastic bag it was wrapped in. I just saved the bag and poured the shampoo directly onto my dog. I will probably buy again.

Hi Lisa, Here are some simple tips to help achieve the best possible results for your pup! For healthy animals, the recommended washing interval is once every -4 weeks. However, you may feel free to wash as often as you like, because the probiotic kefir supports the skins natural biome and doesnt disrupt it. For animals with chronic skin issues, it is best to bathe the animal once every 3 days for the first two weeks, then once a week until the skin normalizes. We highly recommend using a daily-use product, like Daily-use Probiotic Deodorizer or Daily-use Probiotic Detangler. The daily-use products will provide a much needed boost of probiotic to those trouble spots. You are fine switching to a monthly or bi-monthly routine once the skin has normalized. Diluting can make it much easier to spread and lather throughout the coat and rinse out, plus it is super easy to do. Simply pour roughly 1 FL.OZ. (one shot-glass full) per 0-pounds of doggie into an old water bottle or dilution bottle (available on our website!) and top off with water. Dont worry about over diluting, as long as the entire contents of the bottle get on the animal youll be just fine. Message into the skin with both hands for up to -minutes and rinse out. Hope that helps and let us know if you are still not seeing results in a week or two. We are here to help! Thank you, Elyse, Skout's Honor

The dog shampoo seemed to clean okay but it required copious amount or volume to complete the job. I'd rate the shampoo out of 5 stars!
