The Prebiotic Pet Balms are shipped in a hard consistency so that they don't melt during transit. We recommend using the back of a metal spoon to break the surface of the larger container, which will then make it easier to apply. You can also let the balm sit outside in the sun to warm up, or warm the balm really well with your fingers before applying.
