Maybe I can help with the itching! It can take -4 weeks for the skin to restore. So for pets with chronic skin issues it is best to bathe them once every three days for the first two weeks, then once a week until the skin normalizes. You are fine switching to a monthly or bi-monthly routine once the skin has normalized. Let us know how it goes!
