“This is my first time buying anything through Skouts and I love it. So do my two pups. I just got my second order of some of the flea and tick stuff in the mail the other day! ‚ù§Ô∏èÔ∏è”
“I really was hoping that the itching would be improved but after the first bath my GS itched more. I thought I‚Äôd wait to see if the 2nd bath would help and itching seems to be a little bit less. I am still being hopeful that this product will work, so I will keep you posted...”
Hi Rob,
Itching worse after using this product isn't something that we typically hear about. This can be a sign of a sensitivity to an ingredient in our product. If you don't see improvement then we do recommend discontinuing use. For pets with chronic skin issues we do recommend: once every three days for the first two weeks, then once a week until the skin normalizes. Once the skin has normalized you can switch to a bi-monthly or monthly bathing routine. Don't hesitate to reach out with any further questions and concerns at services@skoutshonor.com.
Thank you,
Jeremiah
Hi Jane,
I'm sorry to hear that you haven't seen results so far. How long have you been using each product and how frequently are they applied? I'd love to help.
Cheers,
Susie
“Boone, my Australian Shepherd, has had dry itchy skin, that we have tried dozens of shampoos and remedies. You could see in his eyes and posture that he was immediately soothed with his first bath. Not only was there relief, he was super shiny, super soft and smells so good!”
“Thought I would try this product because my baby itches so much. I have used the shampoo 3 times and the deodorizer daily. My poor baby is itching 10 times worse. I kept trying thinking it would get better but it hasn't at all. Wish it would have worked. My poor baby is miserable.”
“My Cocker Spaniel has suffered with yeast allergies for years. Her Vet described many meds, shampoos every other day and other costly attempts at relief for her. I can say Scouts Honor has definitely helped her coat texture and provided some relief. Although she still has yeast spots after a month of use, I am hoping it wii improve more with continued use.”
Hi Paula,
We're happy that your Cocker Spaniel has found relief with our Grooming Essentials Kit! It can take up to four weeks of consistent use for the skin and coat to restore.
Here are some bathing recommendations:
Bathe your dog once every three days for the first two weeks, then once a week until the skin normalizes. Once the skin has normalized you can switch to a monthly or bi-monthly bathing routine. Apply the Probiotic Deodorizer as needed to help promote good bacteria growth in between baths.
Cheers,
Susie
