“These were supplied as V-TAC VT-291 LED GU10 spotlight, 38 degrees, 720lm, 8W. These spotlights are very bright, and are good for directional illumination in a kitchen, for example, pointing towards a sink, cooker, or cupboard. The 3000K colour is white, on the slightly yellow side, whiter than CFL bulbs, but good for home use. If you have a super-modern style you might prefer a high colour temperature. If you just have a few, widely spaced, recessed ceiling downlights then they might be too directional and leave patches of light and dark on the floor. I bought two of these in 2019 from another supplier and one is still going, one failed recently thus requiring these as a replacement, so 20,000+ hours might be an expected life. It will be hard to find other GU10 LED spotlights as bright as these.”
