“I'm writing this review after one big trip away where the bag was fully loaded.
Positives:
- It feels solid and well constructed.
- The materials feel premium.
- It looks great in person, like proper grown-up bag.
- It feels comfortable on my back, even when fully loaded. Not as ergonomic or balanced as a hiking rucksack, but that's not the use case for this bag. For most urban trips or commuting, it's plenty comfortable.
Downsides:
- The water bottle pockets on the sides are just a smidge too narrow. They actually *will* fit a standard metal water bottle, but only if the bag itself isn't fully loaded. If your bag is crammed with stuff, it'll push against the inside of the material and you won't be able to fit your water bottle in the pocket. My suggestion when you're packing - put your water bottle in the pocket *first* then pack the rest of the bag.
Unknown:
- I haven't tested the water-resistance yet, but I'm taking it to Prague in a few weeks so I'm sure it'll get tested there.
Overall:
- I'm very happy with this bag. Time will tell if the materials hold up, but so far so good.”
“I am happy with this backpack. It's roomy and comfortable. I think it could do with another organiser section inside for small items such as pens, letters etc. Also the outside pouch could do with being more secure. Either a zip across the top or velcro across the top of it so it completely seals. Otherwise I'm happy with it it's a great price and sits well on my back.”
“I recently received with great anticipation my transporter deluxe backpack and although initial spectical that it did not look as big as I thought, I have to say I am very impressed! The bag is of a really good quality so hopefully will withstand the rigours of the hustle and bustle of work, where I travel a lot domestically and internationally (primary reason for the purchase). The ability to be able to carry laptops, portable screen, etc in one bag, as well as water bottle and a multitude of other things is awesome!”
