Hamburg silver Reviews

With a stunning build quality, this watch is for sure a keeper. But be aware that despite it being a 'bauhaus' watch, it's readability is not its strong point, the numerals being quite small. I love the quartz version, it is thin enough to be used as a dress watch, and it goes well with many dress combinations (including work suits).

Moin Arnaud! Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback! We're delighted to hear that you're impressed with the build quality and versatility of your watch—it’s fantastic to know it fits seamlessly into both dressy and professional settings. We appreciate your note about the readability of the numerals. Bauhaus designs often emphasize minimalism, which can sometimes lead to smaller details. Your input is valuable as we continue refining our designs to balance aesthetics and practicality. If there's ever anything we can assist you with, feel free to reach out. Enjoy your timeless piece! Best regards from Hamburg!

Hi there. I am very pleased with my watch, and wear it every day. If I have my hand in the trouser pocket of my jeans, the crown sometimes catches when I take it out.

Thank you for your feedback! We're so glad to hear that you're enjoying your watch and wearing it daily. Regarding the issue with the crown catching when reaching into your pocket, we appreciate you pointing that out. If the crown is causing any discomfort, it might be helpful to check the fit of the watch strap or consider adjusting the crown position slightly. Feel free to reach out if you'd like any further assistance with this! Best regards from the Sternglas team!

Dial is very minimal and elegant BUT the seconds hand do not match the seconds graphic marking on the dial on the quartz watch. I own 4 automatic watches and 5 quartz watches. I own a $600 quartz Junghans, an 100$ quartz Obaku, an $80 quartz Swatch and a $25 Quartz Casio. The only quartz watch that I own in which the seconds hand doesn’t match the seconds graphic markings on the dial is the Sternglass. So other watchmakers are able to do it for even more economic watches. I will not return the watch; too much hassle.

Moin! Thank you for your honest feedback. We’re glad you appreciate the minimal and elegant design of the dial, but we understand your frustration regarding the seconds hand alignment. This can sometimes vary due to the movement tolerances, but we take your comment seriously and will pass it on to our team. If you ever need assistance in the future, feel free to reach out. Best regards from Hamburg!
