“Watch itself is very nice. I highly appreciate 5ATM water resistance and quartz movement. Quartz is cheaper to service and also more accurate. Today every watchmaker is tending to produce mechanical watches due to high service costs - similar to car companies. "Aftermarket" is a major money income for many companies.
I encourage Sternglas to produce slim, quartz, bauhaus style watch with 20 ATM water resistance. There is no similar watch on the market except for Nomos which is very expensive and with expensive to service mechanical movement. Please develop 20 ATM bauhaus watch!!! :-)”
“Overall a great watch! Quality is good and the packaging is up there with much more expenisive watches. I highly value the elegance and simplicity of the timepiece in a classic bauhaus design with the added touch of a great curved sapphire glas and nice contrasting blue hands. The strap does not disappoint either. There are though a couple of minor details that would benefit the watch... First and foremost, the cutout for the date could be a bit larger to aid legibility. Fonts on the dial and on the casing on the back could also be a bit larger (but this is rather up to taste). The dial could also do with a bit more texture as it looks quite plain, especially in sunlight. Also, the lugs could be a bit thinner or better sculptured and there is no logo on the crown, but at this price point not a complaint.”
