“I originally bought this watch. Excited about the Bauhaus style. And the look of the watch is very nice. The case is a decent polish finish. It would be nice to see some brush or something a little nicer than just a polished stainless steel, but for the price point, it's a nice case.
So am I rating it two stars? This is mostly because of the price point mixed with the quality of the watch. This is a quartz movement with no second hand. The absence of a second hand might be because this is a quartz movement and it wants to avoid the visual ticks. I'm not complaining about that design choice. There but there are some good options under $300 that use automatic movements.
One of one other thing is the straps look nice. But it seems that there were some corners cut or some quality issues. Regarding the quick release. I like to change my straps fairly frequently and so I love a quick release option. These straps, however, have a very difficult quick release and the mechanism is basically dug into the leather making it really difficult to activate. Unfortunately, I've already put some minor damages to the leather straps trying to activate the quick release. It would be nice to have some higher quality straps with a clear, quick release tab.
In all I think money would be better spent elsewhere or even just saving up for a better watch. But if you're looking for a low-cost Bauhaus style, this is a decent watch, but I don't think you're getting what you pay for.”
