“I was sooo excited to get this watch and mad at myself for not doing more research.
The dial is silver but in all the pictures it looks white which is what I was hoping for. Even review videos make it look white. I did go back and review the sternglas webpage again and it does show the dial is silver, so I guess shame on me for missing that detail.
Sadly the worst part of the watch is how loud the rotor inside the watch is. It’s is very loud and can be hard by anyone around me in a quiet space ( board room).
I have owned mechanical automatic watches and they are not this loud. It sounds cheap and I probably won’t be wearing this as a dress watch like I had anticipated.
I own 57 watches and this one was sadly a disappointment coming out of the box.”

Teh rotor needs space to move and as it is a quite big one in the Hamburg automatic it can happen that it produces more noise than rotors in other watches do.

“The watch is exactly as advertised. Wonderful design! Only thing that I would point out is that in real life the face is slightly more silver than it looks on pictures. I personally would wish it to be completely white or with minimal hint of silver to achieve higher contrast with the strap and case.”
