The watch strap looks cheap and the foil was not neetly placed on the screen. It is not a cheap watch, yet the packaging and the strap reduce its value in my eyes.”

“I’ve been looking for a watch for a long time. When I saw the promo video of the owner of Sternglas on social media it made me look on their website. Great information and it gave me a clear overview of what I was going to buy. I’ve ordered the watch on Friday and it arrived perfectly on Tuesday. It’s a lovely watch, sits nicely on my wrist and it makes you feel exclusive. One small downside, it’s an automatic and you can hear the mechanism turn. However, after a few days you’ll not notice it anymore.”

It's wonderful to know that it makes you feel exclusive – that's exactly the kind of feeling we want our watches to give! Regarding the movement. It is not uncommon for your watch to make sounds, and in some mechanical movements, these sounds are actually necessary. The reason for this is the presence of clearance spaces between the individual components. These small spaces are necessary for the parts to move freely and regularly. Due to these clearance spaces, the rotor can be distinctly heard during certain movements. Yet we are happy to hear that the sound of the movement did not take away the overall enjoyment. :)
