“I hate leaving poor reviews, but here we are. While this watch is still pretty, it looks nothing like the picture so buyer beware. The face is not green, it's brown with possibly the slightest tint of green if you wanted to give it any sort of credit. I read that it was not the same color in a few reviews and thought it can't be that bad, it is. Those reviews are also gone now. If instagram brought you here, it looks nothing like the photos from the ad. Even the photo on the manual that comes with the watch looks different. The watch also rattles as if something is loose. We thought it was just the spring, but it is so loud that it has to be something else. Again, it is a very pretty watch, but with it looking nothing like the photos and it rattling, I am sending it back and won't be ordering as I don't think I can trust what their products actually look like in real life.”

“The watch is a fair representation of what I saw online, save for the dial colour. It's far greener in the photos than in real life. You can see a tinge of green in certain light at certain angles but it looks predominantly brown (hint of green). Not a deal breaker as it is still a handsome piece. I was a little hesitant about the amount of white markings and whether that would betray its Bauhus inspiration but now think it helps lift the darker-coloured dial. The 4 orange points and second hand also contribute to elevating the dial in what would otherwise have been too monochrome. The sizing is perfect for my 19cm wrist. I love the particular tone of the bronze and it is marriage with that strap is perfect. The strap is far more supple and comfortable than I expected. Given the workhorse-like properties of the Miyota 8215, I'm anticipating a reliable and serviceable timepiece. Although it is but one watch of a large collection, I'll make sure it gets a good deal of wrist time as I'm curious to see how it patinas with age and wear. I'll be sure to keep you up to date with its progress down under. I have already recommended this to 2 of my nephews but Bauhaus or Bauhaus-inspired design isn't everyone's cup of tea, I'm afraid. Oh well, I guess we can't all have the same taste. They may change their minds when they have it on the wrist!”
