It is true that there are more expensive movements but the Miyota movements are very reliable with a good price point, which lets us offer afforadble watches. The power reserve of most of our watches are up to 40 hours if the watch is almost constantly worn. If you were it irregulary you can wind it up by hand to ensure that it runs for approximately 40 hours. We are sorry to hear that you had to change your straps after one year but the straps are made from natural materials and may wear out faster than artificial ones.
