The Sunfood Difference™
Matcha Powder is a unique type of tea made from whole green tea leaves. Before harvest, the plant is kept shaded from the sun. This gives the leaves an incredibly vibrant emerald color. The process of grinding the whole leaf into a fine powder yields a stronger flavor profile.
Our Matcha Powder doesn’t contain any additives.
Grade: Culinary
Caffeine Content: Approximately 40 mg per 2 gram (1 tsp) serving.
Sources: China or Japan

I make matcha tea lattes with the matcha tea and cashew milk I make myself with sunfood cashews. My new favorite drink and by making it myself I know what’s in it. Thank you sunfood for having the best quality products!

I love to use matcha in its traditional form, as well as tons of baking recipes! It’s also amazing in face masks to soothe sensitive skin. Definitely one of my health favorites!

I like the taste of this matcha green tea powder. I have tried mix it with smoothie; or just alone--either was good.

This matcha powder has a wonderful flavor and mixes and dissolves easily. My teenage daughter has gotten hooked on an afternoon smoothie of a blend of 1 banana (sliced and frozen), 1 cup nut milk (we used homemade cashew milk), 1 tsp. matcha powder and 1.5 tsp organic sugar (could use any other sweetener). I tried a taste and it was so good!

This is the best Organic Matcha Powder Tea I have ever tasted! I use it daily in my (Organic) Yerba Mate Tea and thoroughly enjoy the smooth taste and energy that follows! A great way to start the day:)
