“I was really looking forward to trying this, hopefully to save some money over buying the original which I know very well. Unfortunately the 5ml sample I received, smells nothing at all like Aventus, neither the initial release, or the reforumations which can either be fruity or more smokey variations depending on the year.
This fragrance actually reminded me of Aramis, which is built around woody sharp notes. It doesn't project very well and lasted about 2.5 hours before fading away :(”
