“I was disappointed when I got the coat, because it is quite thin, the fur isn’t as thick and luxurious as pictured (and isn’t thicker at the top like in the pictures, it’s just one straight shape), there’s only one clasp to close it (?!), and the shape of the coat is completely straight so it isn’t flattering and makes you look quite boxy. Looking back at the product pictures, I can see the model hides this by posing with hands in pockets stretching them to the side so the fit looks more a-line, and the pictures from the side have her arm posed just so to hide the fact that the back isn’t fitted at all. Also the material is very synthetic/shiny, not the soft velours I hoped for. I’m so disappointed because it’s an expensive coat and I feel like I got a Chinese knock off version from what is pictured on the website. The only thing that is great is the embroidery, so I am keeping the coat and having it altered to add more clasps and take it in at the waist and back so it has more of a flattering shape.”
