The Serene Maiden Oak headboard captures the imagination when positioned in the bedroom - this handcrafted crossover design helps create a stunning focal point to complement the wider decor. The Serene Maiden Oak headboard is a stunning Shaker inspired model with a unique twist, its robust feel and tapered legs sealing the look. The Serene Maiden oak headboard will arrive with wooden struts to attach to the back of your divan set. The environmentally-friendly Serene Hevea Collection has quickly established itself as one of Serene Furnishings best-selling ranges. Produced using Hevea wood from the Brasiliensis tree, each piece presents stunning grain detail and craftsmanship of the highest order. Brasiliensis trees are grown in tropical locations for rubber production. It is only when they reach the end of their natural rubber producing life that they are felled for use in making outstanding furniture.  Serene Furnishings Hevea Collection has been inspired by the Shakers. The movement’s design principles are clearly evident throughout the range, with no detail extravagant or superfluous and lines that are clean and orderly, proportions simple and correct. Immerse yourself in this charming collection of designs that capture the imagination and open the door to a new world of breathtakingly versatile, affordable bedroom design.

The headboard arrived on time and on inspection the could see that it was well made with a satin finish. However, the two supports that attach the headboard to the bed were missing so we are currently awaiting these. On close inspection of the packaging we conclude that it had been previously opened and resealed as the Allen Key for attaching the supports had been found loose in the box and not in the plastic bag with the screws! Hopefully, the supports will arrive soon.
