“So cute. I'm usually a medium, but the size guide said I was a small. I bought the small, and it's actually pretty great. The crotch is a bit narrow, so wearing this for a dance piece is not that flattering in the front. Other than that, the back is beautiful, and lifts my bum just the right amount. The high neck and lace sleeves are sweet and a good juxtaposition to the open-laced back.”

“Sensuous, smooth fabric that is very comfortable to wear. The bralette lining is thick enough that I was completely comfortable going out without a bra (you can see contours but not any actual skin. If you’re modest about nipples showing when it’s cold, I would try pasties or bring a shawl to drape over your chest for cold moments). Loved the design of the back straps, feels very sexy. Only taking a star off for fit - this is a tricky fit for tall ladies. I’m 5’8”, 135 lb, wear a 6 in dresses, 32 B in bras. According to my band, bust and waist I’m a definite small. However, though the body fits flatteringly in terms of width, it’s absolutely too short. This means the bralette rides up over time and I have to reach in and pull it down. It also means the cutouts in the side sit a bit high and look odd unless you’re wearing something high-waisted. If you’re tall and slender, consider trying a size up from your usual.”

“I received this body suit with slight skepticism as nothing like that ever fits me right and ends up making me feel bad about myself... but i tried this on, and was delightfully surprised! It didn't look bad on me, my boyfriend liked it, and it didn't make me feel bad about myself”

“When I first saw Essex, I fell in love! But, I was hesitant about buying because those kind of back straps on other bodysuits by other companies are not very comfortable. When it finally came on sale, I gave it a go and I am SO glad that I did! These straps are amazingly comfortable! They simply hug your curves without adding any extra squish. It fits like a glove. The delicate lace on the sleeves is the perfect way to make it go from casual to dress too. I couldn't be happier with Essex! Thank you, Thistle and Spire for understanding women like to be/feel sexy without having their clothes dig into their skin!”
