“I was so excited to receive this bralette, but was let down when I tried it on. Unfortunately, the band size was rather on the small side, while the cups were large and gappy with extra fabric that caused an uncomfortable feel and unflattering appearance. I’m a small in the Medusa and Brooklyn Haze styles, so I expected I’d be the same in this style. Not so. However, sizing down wouldn’t have fixed the issue as then the band would have been too small. For reference, I’m a 34A in most bras from typical department stores. All that said, it’s a gorgeous style, the materials feel high quality, soft and comfy to wear, and the flame design is stunning and sexy. I love the front-open style. Bottom line: I’ll have to take this to my tailor to have it altered to fit me. Not something I’d like to deal with having to do, but worthwhile because I like everything about this piece except for the fit. I’d still recommend it, just not for someone with a smaller-than-average bust. I’d say the Small would fit a B-cup bust quite well.”

“I love that practically every strap on this bralette is adjustable. I love that it's racerback, so I don't have to deal with falling straps, and has a clasp in the front, so I don't have to worry about fitting it over my shoulders. I love that it comes in black, because that's pretty much all I wear. I like the wide band in the back. I like that it feels supportive without having underwire. I like that I can feel sexy in it without feeling overly femme-y. I like it was on sale, so I could talk myself into buying it on a student budget. I will definitely be shopping Thistle and Spire for my next bralette!”
