“As soon as I put it on the eyelet clasp snapped off. The material around the hooks isn't sewn, it's just punched through, so fraying is inevitable. The worst part was the fit. I'm a 36G and ordered the XL and there was such a huge gap in the lacing but the part where the boobs go just could not be convinced to look supportive or feel good. I would choose a different style!!”

“This piece is so beautiful, but it runs extremely small compared to my other Thistle and Spire pieces. I had to exchange for a size up and even now I can wear it, but the gap with the corset sides are hardly even on my back at this point. Need to size up again, but it is currently out of stock.”

Hi Jennifer, Thank you for the feedback! We do recommend sizing up in this style as it runs slightly smaller. The lacing in the back is designed to be adjustable and is not meant to kiss. “The color pictured is not what you get. It’s definitely more of a berry wine color with a purple brown undertone instead of a ruby red. I don’t know much about how corsets are supposed to fit, but unless you’re rocking DDs you will look FLAT AS A BOARD. It feels like a quality piece though, it’s definitely rigid. The main reason for three stars is the HUGE color variation and the folding that’s already happening on the top of the cups part without the straps.”

“I so so so wanted to love this because this is beautiful, especially in person, but at last I do not. This piece is so small, and no way to size up. I can fit into it but only with the back completely let out. I am a plus size 14/16 and a 40DD for reference. I have purchased a few items from this amazing company and usually a 2x fits perfectly. This product is at least a size too small. The boning is flimsy for a corset. I have many corsets in my wardrobe and knew this was a lingerie piece but is very lack luster in construction. If you are a fabulously plushy girl this is not the one. Otherwise the fabric and look of the piece is gorgeous. I am a bit heart broken.”

Hi Brenda! Thank you for the honest feedback, we are always looking for ways to improve. The corset has a fully adjustable back with lacing, so you can loosen or tighten it as needed! Alternatively, we do offer exchanges and returns so you can swap it for another piece that you'll love. xx

“Fabric was fraying around the grommets, fairly significantly, hooks feel off the first time I started unhooking. When we finally got it fit the breast region was really unfortunate with my breasts pointed out like weird bullets. I also felt like I looked like a circus preformer. We immediately returned it. It was so unflattering.”

“Pretty design but very poor quality!! For the price I expected better. There are so many loose threads, uneven stitching and bad overlocking. Even the elastic at the bottom is not stitched on properly so there is a small hole and outer satin is fraying. Do not recommend! Also the cup area is too small for big boobs. Anything above a D the proportions will be off.”

“The corset was beautiful but it was way too small! It might fit a 2X, but as a 3X beauty, this was definitely a no go. This is probably the first misstep I've ever experienced with this brand's sizing. I'm kinda sad about it.”
