“I was surprised to receive a repeat prescription for the contraceptive pill without any contact telling me it was being sent out or any consultation to find out if it was still an appropriate medication for me. This is dangerous practice as my circumstances and health could have changed significantly since the first prescription 12 months earlier. I shall be returning to my GP in future to ensure a safe level of care.”
