I have personally gone through many rounds of professional laser-hair-removal treatments (12+ sessions over the course of 1-2 years) and for a while, most of my hair was gone, but i've recently noticed it starting to grow back in certain spots which is why I am excited to see if Nood will work!
So far, I find it super easy to use and quick! I've been doing it in my house just in front of a mirror and I wear regular sunglasses because I have some light sensitivity to my eyes.
As far as the pain - it is not painful, but I will say it is a little uncomfortable especially in certain areas. I was able to use the highest intensity level 7 in my underarms and legs, but for more sensitive areas (bikini and face) I used level 6. Even my boyfriend is excited to try this out on himself!
