“My item was clearly repackaged but seemed to still be in like new condition so I went ahead and used it.
Here are some things I think need to be pointed out. You 100% NEED some kind of eye protection even though they say you don't. The product glasses a red and bright white light that lights up the entire room even when pressed hard against skin. Also, they claim it won't send out light with out completely being covered by your skin... That's false. Mine flashed light on to my white tile floor and it was bright to the point it temporarily affected my vision.
There is a discrepancy between what the website gives as instructions for use and what the booklet that comes with the product says. One example being it states to use the product 3 times per week for the first few weeks in the booklet, however, on the website it says no more than twice a week.
Things you should know:
It has a fan that is pretty loud.
The cord is not very long.
You have to go over each area 3 times I. One session per the booklet.
I used approximately 1100 flashes to do underarms, legs (up to an inch above knees) and barely my bikini line. (The website says that you can share this item with others, but not sure if it comes with enough flashes for even one person considering how much you use and the maintenance . Yes, you have to keep using this once per month per booklet.
The booklet states you have to use a level 6 or higher (?) My device only went to a level 6 so not sure what's going on there. For it to actually work. Here is the other thing... It's hurts passed level 3! I'm not sensitive at all and have a very high threshold but on my under arms and bikini line I was barely handling the level 3. My legs I was able to do a level 5.
The best way to describe the feeling is like holding a sparkler near your body.. hot and almost like a little shock. It even sounds that way.
With that being said I will use it as the booklet states a little while longer to see if the results are worth the pain .”
