“We love coming along to turtle tots every week. My little boy has so much water confidence the lessons are informative helping adults keep little ones safe in water and also fun lessons with toys etc helping build their confidence in water. I love having the opportunity to be flexible if we are unwell one week and being able to cancel and book another alternative session so we don’t miss out.

All the teachers are some of the friendliest people I have ever met, its rare to come across that these days. You can tell everyone is so passionate about teaching. We always leave with a spring in our step after having so much fun!

“My LO started at 3.5months old and Anna was patient, friendly, inviting and informative. Each session has been so much fun and my LO every week loves being in the pool and splashing away! “We have just completed our first term of “Turtle Tots”. The classes are multi-ability grouped according to age. I loved the way we could join in straight away even though my 2 year old hadn’t done any swimming before. I liked Kathy’s child-led approach, particularly around jumping in / noodles / toys. The emphasis is always on fun and babies are never forced to do anything they don’t want to do. The classes were a convenient time and location for us. Kathy is very personable, supportive and always has time for questions. She has been so friendly and easy to communicate with. From our very first visit, we were made to feel really welcome. Singing and repetition is a big part of the routine for the Turtle Tots classes, which my daughter loves! During our first couple of sessions, my daughter was a little nervous and sometimes cried when we tried new things or she got her face wet. Now she squeals with laughter through most of the class. Swimming classes have now become part of our weekly routine, and my daughter often asks if we’re going swimming when we get in the car. We can’t wait for the new term! Thanks so much Kathy and team.

“I cannot recommend Turtle Tots Cardiff enough! It has been absolutely incredible for my baby’s confidence in the water. I’ve been taking my little girl since she was 3 months and she loves it (bath time is also a breeze since attending). Unlike other swim schools I’ve tried with my older children, which used pushy techniques that actually dented their confidence, Turtle Tots seem to take a different approach. Cath and the team truly understand babies and what works best for them, creating a calm, supportive, and fun environment.
The whole ethos of Turtle Tots is spot on—it’s all about nurturing and encouraging at the baby’s pace. My little one absolutely loves the sessions, and I’ve been amazed at how much progress we’ve made without any pressure. It’s such a joy to see my baby happy and confident in the water.
