Active Sport Collagen Reviews

Despite its effectiveness, I can't give a five star review because size of these tablets makes them almost inedible. I spent weeks struggling to swallow them (I have no issue with other tablets) until someone suggested sticking them in the nutribullet and blending them in a smoothie. Given other reviewers have the same issue, maybe this would be better supplied as a powder which can be added to smoothies rather than in tablet form!

Two months in knees seem better, hair and finger nails growing more as promised! The pills are huge to swallow - I put them in the blender with my smoothie.

I’m using the ‘Active Sports Collagen’ as well throughout the day with my daily vitamins and at night to help with recovery and repair of muscle tissue. I’m a big advocate of collagen for supporting ligaments, tendons, muscle repair and growth. This is product I feel I could recommend to my clients once I’m up and running in PT. I looked at the active collagen gel sachets, but didn't like how much plastic I'd be wasting, and the blend also had various other vitamins that I wasn't interested in. Then I came across the sport collagen tablets. Which is much more up my street and it didn't seem to have all the other vitamins I wasn't interested in - I'm also pretty good with swallowing tablets, it doesn't ususally phase me - great! I thought... Receving them, the size looked okay, a little larger than another supplement I take, but didn't see it as a challenge. Oh my I was wrong.. The way the tablets are shaped, gives them a little raised "lip" at the edge instead of being smooth, they're also very "flat" rather than rounded. I can feel them dragging down my throat and it's just not a nice experience. Because I know they're a difficult shape, I'm also finding it hard to commit to taking 5 of them a day. I really was hoping for a positive way to help an injury I have. I think I may look to find another supplement next time round.
