I'm sorry to hear the fabric was not what you expected.
We offer our customers this fabric in half metre lengths because it is more expensive than some of our other fabrics, and we believe our customers appreciate being able to order 1/2 a metre, or 3 and a 1/2 metres to make their project cheaper.
We do try to make it clear that the fabric is £16.99 per metre, and £9.99 for a half metre. You will have had to click both '1/2 metre' and 'per metre length' in order to order the samples, under the Size option. However we will review this, and try to make it clearer to the customer that it is the same fabric, just with different size options.
