“I purchased this fabric to re-cover an old wooden box which has been handed down to me from my mother and which was made for my great-grandparents in Victorian times. It has been used over the years for storing slippers (initially) and various other items. The original padding had deteriorated and it needed a new cover.
The velvet which I ordered is lovely quality and the colour exactly as shown on the website.
I have covered the box, after adding new padding and also added some copper-coloured studs, which combined have given it a new lease of life.
The company were very prompt in sending out a replacement order after I contacted them to advise them I had not received the original order, although that was entirely my fault as I had not put my house number on the order, by mistake. They were very quick to respond and resolve the issue and were extremely polite and helpful throughout. I would definitely recommend this company if you are looking for reasonable, good quality fabric from a professional company.”
