“This light is superb. It is extremely bright and, if used in conjunction with the Juwel HeliaLux Smart Control, extremely controllable in every aspect - colour, brightness, duration, soft start/finish and emulating the light quality of the fishes' natural environment. I have planted aquariums and this light is excellent for plants also. The construction is top notch, it's very robust and sleek, and fits my Juwel Rio 350 perfectly and allows the original lid flaps to function as before (various length options are available for different aquariums in the Juwel range). Please don't think this light only fits Juwel aquariums however, end block adaptors/risers are available that means it can be used on pretty much any aquarium. Although it isn't a cheap light, the build quality and controllability make it worth paying for and I'm certain it will last a very long time and provide years of pleasure.
I have been so impressed with this light that I have bought a second smaller 600 unit to replace the standard LED unit in my Juwel Lido 120 together with the splitter that allows the two lights to be controlled by one Smart Control. I highly recommend.”
