“Seems fine - im sure itll do the job. Added to existing and had lots of additional space. Not cleaned the filter yet but I expect it to be much the same as other media I have in there (alfagrog included). Was dusty but to be expected and easy to pre rinse as per.”
“These are the only biological filtration I use now. Ditch whatever is included with your filter and get this instead. The best aerobic and anaerobic filtration out there. Only a couple of downsides, there is always a bit of dust so it needs washing with old tank water or dechlorinated water before use. Also my purchase didn’t include bacteria gel balls, which were included when I purchased these elsewhere and really help kickstart the filter nitrogen cycle”
