“We have old-style, essentially obsolete fluorescent tube lights in our closets and pantry. Rather than get an electrician to replace them, I bought Vont's rechargeable closet lights. The magnets attach firmly to the metal surface of the fixtures and effectively turn them into motion-sensitive ceiling lights. One light is plenty for an average closet; I'll use two for my long pantry. This was the easiest fixture upgrade I've ever done, and at a great price, too. I plan to buy a few more to keep charged and swap out when the ones in use need recharging. I'm so glad to have found these excellent lights!”
“I like these lights. Perfect for our laundry room and pantry. My only problem is the directions. There weren’t any. I found some online, but they’re a bit vague. I think because there is a definite time lag between when you press the light mode and a light response, it took a little bit to figure out how to set ours up. The other issue is that if you want to put them on a wall, placed vertically, be prepared to add a ‘stopper’ to prevent the light from sliding down off the included magnet. Horizontally, there’s a small lip that does this, but vertically it just slides right down. I just use a thumbtack. I love that it’s rechargeable and lasts at least a week between charges.
Note: I received this product as a member of the VONT Insiders Club. No review was required.”
“awesome and so bright . they have brought my dark spaces into the light. love that you have 2 ways to mount these lights and they are so lightweight and the best rechargeable no more hunting for batteries”
“These are perfect for my pantry. I have a dark pantry and have to use a flashlight to see items. I placed this just inside my door and I can see everything in the pantry easily. I love that they recharge by the USB type C cables, the same that most of my other items uses. Since they are magnetic, I plan on using them under the hood of my car the next time I have to work in the dark. Now I just have to figure out where to use the 3rd one! I'm sure I'll think of something.”
