Vont Scope Bike Light Set Reviews

There must be brighter and more expensive bike lights in the market but this one is the best one I have had the pleasure of using. It is great for its size, cost and brightness.

This is basically a flashlight fitted with a bicycle mount. What makes it great is that it is exceptionally bright and the focus of its light beam can be adjusted. It allows for a range from a fixed point of the beam to a very wide. I am not sure if you need the fixed point of light, but it is still great that the light is adjustable. I thought the light would only have the On/Off switch positions but found the light has a few other options including flashing and varying intensity of the light beam. A quick release snap in place of the screw mechanism would take this light from good to great. This is an incredible deal that saves you from wasting money on other ‘fancy’ lights for your bike. I already have a bunch of fellow riders asking me where I got this.

I just received this bike light and I find it bright enough for most cyclists’ needs. However, I would not use this light in fast cycling…maybe only as an auxiliary light. The light casts a nice beam that is broad enough on the wide setting and has a smooth gradient. There are no annoying shadows cast by the light itself. With a narrow beam setting, the light easily picks out objects up to 200 feet away. The light has 3 modes; fast flash, dim and full. I estimate the lumens of this light to be 200-300 at best. This is far from the brightest handle-bar mounted bike light you can get.

This bike light is very adequate for my lighting needs. Pros; Adjustable focus of light beam with wide angle to pencil beam options. On/Off indicator by illuminating a ring Better quality than the bike light it is replacing Cons; The focus adjustment is too soft. This in not really a major problem but can present issues at times. The light is bright but not to my expectations. This light is a nice light to help other road users see you easily. In the dark, it will probably allow you to see quite well. It is in city environs with streetlights and headlights that you find a challenge with this light. It does not illuminate potholes and bumpy bits well enough!

This is a nice little light, simple to use, and appears well made. The beam throws about 150 feet of usable light on high and about 50 feet on low. The red light is useful for about 5 feet. It has 3 white light settings; high, low, flashing. Red has a steady and a flashing setting. I like headlamps with a center, over the top of head strap, which this unit doesn't have, however it's light enough, and the strap is firm enough, that it stays well in place. It would be nice were it rechargeable, but there is something to be said for being able to change batteries (3AAA) quickly, and continue using. One could use rechargeable batteries in any case. At this price it's a good deal. The are more powerful units available for a little more money, but they are heavier and bulkier. All in all, a decent little light
