“The property, location and vacation rental were superior. We have rented many of the vacation rentals in this area and this was one of the best. The interior and exterior of the house were outstanding. The location was excellent in a very wide portion of the canal and even provided a view of the bay itself. Even though the wind was excessive during our outing we enjoyed the relaxing nature of the entire experience. We will have to return when the fishing/weather is improved. The overall handling of the property management was superior. We would have wanted to know that there would have been a chance for an earlier check-in but did not learn of this opportunity until we were in route. Plus, some of the "house/property rules" were a little harsh since we were a party of mostly 50 to 70 year old guests. However, all in all, we were very impressed and hope to return for another visit.”

“Great house, enjoyed the beautiful yard with my fur babies!! The owners are awesome, their hospitality was wonderful with the story of their home and family (made me tear up) and the snacks!! I've been renting vacation houses every summer for 20 years in Galveston and this was by far the best house I've ever rented, overall the owners, the house and Ryson are Wonderful!!! Thank you!!”

“A fantastic location for trout fishing and beautiful sunsets. The welcome basket was very appreciated upon arrival. We dropped by Kroger after picking up the keys from Ryson and didn't need a single thing - although there are 2 convenience stores at the front of Jamaica Beach entry if you do forget anything. Beach access is right at the entry to the subdivision and was not crowded. The fenced backyard was well maintained and lots of room for our dog to run. Wifi worked like a charm but we were uneasy that it was not password secured. One key works better than the other on the front door. Jiggle gently and have patience. Great vacation home!!!”

“The views from this home are spectacular. We have stayed here four times in the past year and love it. There is a boat dock and fish prep sink at the dock. Plenty of room in the side yard for kids to run around. The home is very comfortable with a good sized well stocked kitchen.”
