“The house is in need of updating! Dishwasher did not work properly, soap would not dispense and dishes never got clean. Ended up washing all dishes by hand, which I can do but not when I'm paying that much for a vacation house. Microwave was awful! Major rust areas inside it. We did not use it. We went to use the vacuum and it would not work, son-in-law took it apart and got hair and debris that was stuck in it. (That tells me either someone doesn't sweep the house very well, or they never check the vacuum.) There is a wall in the kitchen area that is in desperate need of repair. The light in the living room installation is not completed - it's being held up by a tie-wrap. REALLY!? Finishing cap is not attached either. Dryer would not shut off - had to constantly keep an eye on it for the clothes. Patio furniture pads are in shreds and need to be replaced. Rockers on the deck need a deep cleaning. We will be back to Galveston; as we loved the location and ability to socially distance and have family fun. We will probably use Ryson again but will pay more attention to the house.”

“The place is beautiful. Nice location. Nice amenities. Safety concerns, the upper deck railing had 3 slats missing. A small child could slip through and fall. Needs repair. We noticed several roaches moving about the interior of unit. Could use exterminating. The master bedroom sliding door would not unlock and could not open. I would consider booking again but would like above items looked at..”
