Clean well kept beautiful condo. Our stay was one of the most relaxing vacation I've had. Our 4 year old grandson locked the guest bathroom door I call the office and they had someone there quickly all was well.

Unusual visit because of Hurricane Nicholas making land fall in Galveston on our 2nd day. Power was out from10:39 pm - 4 pm the following day. We also lost The Internet for 3 out of the 6 days and cell phone reception was difficult. The property and pool area were cleaned up but the hot tub was pretty much out of commissions first no heat then heat but no aeration for last 3 days. Positives: Ryson Rentals was very responsive to getting things back on track. We were very appreciative to have at least the electricity back on and the A/C. There was nice view of ocean and pool from the unit. It was Clean, spatial, adequately stocked (but, for a 6 day stay perhaps more towels, toilet paper and fresh soap and paper towels might be nice. The A/C worked great once electricity was restored as did appliances and refrigerator. And the location of the unit from the parking lot made it very easy to load and unload suitcases, etc. Improvement Opportunities: We had to buy ice and did not use the ice maker as the ice shoot appeared to be stopped up with a frozen block of ice. Otherwise, the refrigerator and freezer worked well. With children at night TV’s are nice to have after a long day on the beach and though there were 3TVS, we had a really difficult time figuring out the remotes and what type of cable tv or other we were on. Maybe it was the weather but there were 7 remote controls in the unit with no explanation on how to operate the Tv’s or DVD. Problematic because batteries were not working and needed to be replaced in 3 of the remotes and there was no way to determine which remotes went to which TV. The Universal TV remotes would not allow us to move between the Input in order to toggle between what it was operating while the TV remotes would allow us to enter the Input desired but would not let us operate the device. Very frustrating so would suggest a laminated sheet with instructions and also would suggest numbering or labeling the remotes with which room they belong in and also make sure that the batteries are good. Lastly, the larger bathroom with the shower does not drain when showering so water rises to about 3 inches inside the shower floor and takes about 3/4 hour to drain. All in all, this is a good unit, Ryson stayed on top of the issues and we appreciated and enjoyed our stay. This is the 3rd time that we have stayed at the Dawn Paradise Condominiums and it has many lovely qualities. We thank those who made our stay enjoyable under the weather circumstances.

The size of the unit was perfect for us and we really enjoyed the pool. However, the floors and carpet weren’t clean. There was dried spaghetti on the floor in the dining area and it just smelled musty in the unit. One smoke alarm was chirping from a dead battery so we reported that and never received a call back. I left a note explaining why we had to take that alarm down.

Wonderful spacious condo right across the street from uncrowded Beach area. Two pools with hot tubs doesn’t get any better.
