“I am a travel agent and have stayed at multiple places around the world. So, let me start by saying, we had a WONDERFUL time and in no way do these complaints lessen our time, but rather, I'm sharing so that management can improve the unit. :) The big complaint is that only one person can take a shower an hour, otherwise, it is a freezing cold shower! Might want to upgrade the water heater. Otherwise, just a few things: 1. The condo had a slight moldy smell to it like it had been sitting unopened for a while. I would suggest freshening up before each guest. :) 2. There needs to be more seating in the living room. The condo sleeps 6, but only seating for 4 in the living room. An added chair or love seat would do the trick! 3. The guest bedroom mattress needs replacing and the frame was leaning towards one side. I would suggest replacing. 4. There needs to be lots more pillows. Only two pillows per bed and lets be honest, everyone likes more pillows to snuggle with :) Now to the good! :) 1. The unit has an absolutely gorgeous view and a lovely balcony to enjoy it! 2. The unit was well stocked and had everything we needed, including extra blankets because it was bone-chilling COLD during our stay! It was so cold the heat never kicked off! 3. The location cannot be beat. You could walk to The Islands if you wanted to! 4. We found parking to be great around the condo building and never fought for an elevator. 5. The unit is decorated very nicely. 6. Management was excellent. They sent key-code and information promptly prior to arrival, they called and checked on us periodically. They were excellent! 7. We enjoyed many complimentary entertainment tickets provided by the management company! This will save you a few bucks! All in all, a great stay! We will be booking with condopigeonforge again!”

We are delighted you had a wonderful time during your stay at Big Bear Resort. The condo’s gorgeous view, convenient location, money saving entertainment ticket program, easy parking, convenient elevator access, thoughtful amenities, and charming decorations are some of the reasons it’s a great place to stay. We appreciate you taking time to make suggestions for improvements. Our maintenance and management team followed up on the concerns you raised. They found the water heater is correctly sized for the unit. It was professionally tested, and no defects were found. The maintenance manager also verified it was set to the correct water temperature. The maintenance team has assured us that there are no issues with the water heater. Additionally, our rental manager inspected the unit and detected no musty smell. The bed frame and mattress in the guest room were also inspected, and we found no issues with either one. It is our pleasure to provide our guests with excellent stays, so thank you for suggesting adding more pillows on the beds. We doubled the number of pillows on each bed because we agree, everyone likes more pillows to snuggle with! We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay in Pigeon Forge and look forward to having you as a return guest.
