We originally made reservations for this property, but were transfer to 325 Mango Street, for the air conditioning broke on the mentioned property above. 5566 Palmetto needs a lot of improvements, there is no dining room, floors need replacement, also it will be better to have two nicely kept bedrooms/bathrooms, than have three small bedrooms, and two tiny bathrooms. The pool area is very nice, but the actual house needs improvements

This place is offensive. We stayed here for 10 days and it was a nightmare to say the least. Upon arrival, as soon as we open the door the smell that came out of this house was horrific. Mold and must. I spent the entire first day washing all the linens and bedding because they Smelled like old must. I also had to go buy a mop and cleaner to keep the place while I was there. The floors were black. The housekeepers definitely sweep, but they do not mop. The pool upon arrival looked like stagnant dirt water. The maintenance man did come change the pool filter and that did make a difference. The house is extremely under maintained by the owners. The downstairs apartment is just gross. There are no words. When I go on vacation I want to feel at home and comfortable. The entire 10 days here all we felt was dirty and uncomfortable. The beds are absolutely horrific. You’d be better off sleeping on the floor. The entire deck was black. I wrote my name in the mold. The company did have it power washed. But the deck is rotting. The screened in porch door does not work. The hinges are broke. The screen is coming off on the enclosure. The deck in the back that the tiki bar is rotted. The pool floor is black from not being taken care of. I could go on. Look else where. And to the owners, shame on you for keeping a vacation rental in this condition.
