They are long enough and wide enough at the wrist to comfortably slip the cuffs of a jacket or winter coat inside them to help keep your hands and wrists completely covered and free of flying snow when blowing snow in the driveway so I'm certain they will be great for using while ice fishing. I may order a couple more pairs for family members because they seem to be crafted very well and should last several years. They also have a little pocket with a zipper where you could stash something of value to keep it dry.”
