If your wiper arms have not been removed for a long time or ever then you will need to use some heat to get them off, as well as the special tool. Tighten up the tool as much as you can, protect the surrounding area with at least a couple of layers of cloth and then heat up the boss of the wiper arm with a heat gun on the low setting but held close.”
