“The product is great! I’ve ordered it three times now. It leaves your skin feeling fresh in the mornings. The only big downside for me is I received the 30 ml bottle with just less than a third missing. I sent a video and pictures of this via email to the Yasmin Karimi email address asking for this to be rectified, however I haven’t had a reply to either of my emails unfortunately. I’ve been prompted to leave a review a few times and I didn’t wish to leave this but rather resolve it via email but seeing as though I’ve not had a response, unfortunately this is the only way I can put my concern across of not recieving a full bottle. I also ordered a 30 ml dessert island oil which is also a fabulous oil. However when I compared both bottles content wise side by side you could clearly see the dessert island oil bottle was full as expected, and the vitamin c serum bottle next to it had a good bit missing. I did also check the packaging Incase there was a leak, but there wasn’t. It appears there’s just been a case of not having a full bottle during the manufacturing process. I have ordered two bottles before and they both always arrived full. Lastly, the 30ml vitamin c arrived in a green bottle opposed to the usual orange I have received in the past? I was a bit confused by this, not sure if it’s been rebranded or if the 30ml’s are supposed to be green and the 15ml Orange? Nonetheless the product is fab mashallah I wish Yasmin all the success! The only downside, which I empathise with as she is a start up business and doesn’t have full resource, is no response to my email queries for a couple of weeks or so now. I would still like the receive the remainder of my product missing from the vitamin c serum as for me that would be around 2 weeks or more worth of use. Therefore I’m hoping I will receive a response to reciting this as the product is not cheap, which is understandable as the ingredients are pure and of good quality. But in return, I would expect to receive a full bottle. Thanks.”

“Absolutely in love with this serum. I have only used it twice and wow it makes my skin look so healthy and glowy. I have applied it before my foundation as recommended by Yasmin and my makeup goes on so smoothly after applying just a few drops of this badboy! “To start the smell of this serum is so rejuvenating I love putting it on first thing in the morning. I have used many many serums and this is the only oil that evened out my skin tone. After using it for a few weeks my skin was brighter and more even. I used this under make up and it gives me the perfect dewy look without the greasy feeling that other products can give. “I purchased the Vitamin C face serum, and got the Desert island oil as a gift. I just want to say, I'm obsessed with oils, as you have seen on Yasmins snap I sent a few oils but stated the Vit C is the best. I've used oils for years, as I have marks after I peel spots and have pigmentation around my chin area, nothing worked even the high ended products and I splashed out a lot of money.
When I was purchasing this I knew Yasmin puts her time and effort in products and wouldn't just put her name on anything that isn't worth selling. It's been weeks I have been using the Vit C serum in conjunction with the Desert Island oil, so in the morning after I cleanse and tone my face I apply 5-6 drops of the vitamin c serum on my face and I pat in and then apply a moisturiser on top ( Sometimes I replicate Yasmin's style and apply the dropper directly to my face :-) I have noticed this has helped with my pigmentation and marks I have had they're actually less visible and are fading. This sits really good under makeup and doesn't look as if you've got a face full of grease and oil because it sinks in nicely with the signature YK glow. Even if you apply this without makeup the glow is still insane!
During the night, I wipe off my make up, cleanse, tone, moisturise and then I pat 2-3 drops of the desert island oil into my skin (patting the desert island after my moisturiser works well for me) however I know some people like to use it before they moisturise. Let me tell you this product smells so lush, because I've had exam stress and I've followed the pamper method as well by inhaling it, rubbing it on my temples and massaging it in the face and it actually also gives a good night sleep. This product has helped lighten my skin, and also helped with my marks, so when Yasmin puts on her snapchat of before and after results they are genuine because I've seen the difference!
Yes these products are a little expensive, but if they weren't good enough or weren't working I wouldn't have even bothered writing a review. Both the oils obviously work in different ways, however i think if you use the Vit c in morning and desert island at night you'll see visible results pretty much after a few uses it's like a day and night treatment!
I'm using Yasmin Karimis hair oils, shampoo, conditioner and now the face serum and face oil and I rate it 10/10, they're better than anything you can buy in the high street! I follow Yasmin closely on Instagram and snapchat and she does share all her products and tutorials and she is a perfect role model, with her dress, her career goals and how she is open and advises people of any queries they may have! Her and her products are definitely goals, so I suggest you all purchase these two magic potions and I can't wait till she launches her face cleanser because surely I'll be the first to purchase it ;) and let's all appreciate how amazing her makeup skills are!!!! Thank you Yasmin for creating these products because I know my skin is more radiant, smoother, plumper and I don't even really break out anymore! You're the best!”
