“I absolutely love this book, although it did make me tear up. The story is from the perspective of a little girl who is having a "no money day" and so has to find free things to do such as visit the library and play with things she finds around the house. Even though her mum is upset to take her to the foodbank, the little girl has a great time there, and still has a lovely day. Such an important message, both for children to learn that they can still have fun without money, and also to realise that not all children will be coming from households with full cupboards.”
