“My dog will simply not eat them, so a waste of money as they are to big to hide in food. Only option is to crush. Had much more luck with another brand which was in tablet form, so could hide in butter for quick swallow.”
Hi Paul, thanks so much for getting in touch with us and we’re really sorry to hear that your Springer Spaniel isn’t too keen on their ZamiPet chews just yet. There are a few different techniques that we have found to be successful when introducing new foods to our dogs, including breaking the chews into smaller parts, as they have been designed to do just that. We’ll get in touch with you privately by email to share these with you (although we also understand that a senior fur friend is a master of their likes and dislikes at this stage in life, and sometimes not able to be influenced, whatever the means!). We’ll be in touch with you shortly.
“Full disclosure, I work for ZamiPet and always planned to add a ZamiPet supplement to my nine year old lab's diet. I settled on the Senior Support as he classifies as a senior and has started to act his age... He has now been on Seniors for about a month and is more alert and present with less moments of seeming absent, which is really comforting for me. The fact that he thinks I'm giving him treats is an added bonus!”
